Meal Prep 101: Breakfast Burritos

When it comes to Meal Prepping and first starting out, I say start small. Meal Prepping can become overwhelming if you don't have a lot of experience. It can also be EXPENSIVE, so start with something easy and work your way up. Breakfast Burritos are the perfect thing to start with because they are inexpensive, and the ingredients can be used again for other recipes.

*TIP: Cross using ingredients is key to getting more bang for your buck when it comes to planning meals. For example, Bell Peppers can be used in Breakfast Burritos, used again to make Stuffed Peppers, and then again for Fajitas.

Another great thing about Breakfast Burritos is that you can substitute ingredients to match whatever is on sale at your local grocery store. If one week turkey bacon is on sale and the next week turkey sausage, you can swap the meat but still have something that taste great.

Below I have an outline on how to create your shopping list, and make Breakfast Burritos for the week!

After each Burrito has been made, wrap each one in plastic wrap and then cover in foil. Label each Burrito with what flavor it is and the date. Store in a Gallon size freezer bag.

When its time to eat completely unwrap Burrito and the wrap with a paper towel. Microwave for 1 and half to 2 minutes.
